About Me

Oh hello there, I'm Yuan Xue. I am a computer engineering new grad from the University of Toronto.

I have over two years of working experience as a developer from IBM (16 month), TD Securities (almost 1 year) and other means (Research assistant etc).

I have a passion for building useful and not so useful (but fun!) software applications. I also enjoy working out, chilling out with friends and eating great food.

• Heavily Involved in the design/implementation of a new trading web platform particularly around restful API services, real time updates, email services and reporting, built with NodeJS, AngularJS, Socket.IO, OracleDB and MongoDB
• Created a web dashboard used to track, monitor and administrate TD securities’ development tool stack using AngularJs, NodeJS and MongoDB

• Developed with a group of researchers to create a Restful API service used to deliver public traffic data in the North America region using Flask, PostgreSQL and MongoDB
• Delivered traffic data visualization on google maps in New York region using JQuery
